On this site I want to show you how simple Decoupage can be. No more of all of that intricate cutting and applying 20 coats of decoupage glue. I will also show you how to do lovely transfers. Transfers and decoupage go together like paint and canvas. Have a look at these projects that I have done. I’ll show you how to do these also and tell you where to get the supplies...
Now-you too, will be able to take those old pieces of furniture, that unusual shaped glass bottle, those plastic jars-including the lids, and turn them into something that you will fall in love with, Something you find a pleasure to have around your home or to give away as a gift. I will supply you with step by step how to video’s. -(as of today, I have made over 200 that are on youtube).
And I will provide the links for you to get the supplies. A lot of items you will already have on hand, you will just want the supplies to get them done. I will even help you if you have a question along the way. My video’s are all free and listed on Youtube, and I will be adding the newer videos here each week. But I will also be adding a few pay videos (you will be able to pay on line and have the video stored on your computer). The paid videos will be longer and more thorough than the Youtube videos.
I am the author of Upcycle With Decoupage and I’ve been doing decoupage for over 30 years. After the release of my book, I began to make “how to” tutorials on youtube to promote it. I have been making videos for 3 years and I know what people like and do not like when watching a video. I have a Facebook page called Upcycle with Decoupage that I encourage people to “like and follow” so that they are notified each week when I put a new video out. It’s an open page meaning you don’t have to sign up or join. You can just go over and have a look at the page and all of my prior projects. I have thousands of comments on my videos and thousands of followers on my videos and my Facebook page. I encourage you to post pictures of your work on my Facebook page. I am very supportive and you won’t hear any criticisms from me. If you ask for advise I will tell you but I usually get inspired by all of the work I see others do. Another page was created on Facebook as a result of my videos and instead of there only being one person (like I am here on my site) there are five moderators! That means you can get answers right away. One of the moderators is even from the UK so she’s on a different time schedule than those of us in the US. That page is called Mason Jar Madness and Decoupage. It’s a very informative, helpful page and it’s fun!
Here are a few testimonials from my latest videos:
