The Before The After
DIY Artist’s Journal using an Address Book
You can see how beat up the original address book was….and how it looks now. A little chalk paint, decoupage glue and glitter….and it’s like new. You could even use an old address book and paint over the pages with chalk paint so you can use the book all over again, this time for your creative ideas. I have to admit, I have about 4 different places where I write down my ideas. I keep a pad in the bedside table because I am constantly getting ideas while I’m going to sleep or waking up. Yup, I sure do, I dream about decoupage. But that pad has to stay upstairs, so I keep another pad near the computer where I’ll get ideas galore after looking on Pinterest. I keep notes on my Iphone, and then there are the variety of napkins in my pocketbook that all have all types of mad scribbles all over them. Have a look at this weeks Youtube video and see where I’ll be keeping all of my notes from now on. I will carry this book with me everywhere, and in the event that I forget it, (I have to make it a habit first) I will still have the backup pads all over.
In the meantime, here’s the supply list and the links next to them so you can buy them right here! If you like the napkins don’t hesitate, they sell out very quickly. Punch Studio has some of the most beautiful napkins you’ll ever see. If the napkins you want are sold out, click on the link, and enter exactly what you’re looking for, an example would be Music themed napkins -or purple hydrangea napkins..you can also do a search for Punch Studio napkins or Ideal Home Range Napkins, floral napkins, French themed, fruit, etc…
