DIY Annie Sloan Romantic Candle Votives

LLet’s take these candle votives that started out as clear glass and turn them into these romantic vintage rose themed beauties. I actually bought this box of candles here :  I love that there are 8 candles in a box in clear glass votives and they cost eleven dollars! I got the green color because my friend got them and the scent was very light. These do come in all different colors and scents though. I made sure to use my tissue paper since I made them specifically to fit over small votive jars. Vintage white roses, carnations and baby’s breath all in watercolor. I wanted to make these as romantic as possible. Romantic candles, the 2 words go together. These would be great party favors for a bridal shower, or they can be placed on the tables in front of wedding guests. These are quite easy to make and I’ll show you how in this week’s video. You can watch the video here :  Here are the supplies you’ll need below. Please don’t forget to subscribe to my youtube channel after you watch the video. There are now over 230 DIY decoupage video’s on my channel.

Ready to make those plain old cardboard matchboxes look spectacular? I’ll show you how with this simple Decoupage project. Winter time means cozy nights by the fire, but you gotta have matches! And they have got to be pretty matches. Let’s make those Matchboxes a pretty Pink Rose and carnation Shabby chic themed room accent. Here’s what you’ll need to make these.

Mostly watercolor images of all sorts of flowers-though I am always adding new papers to my line. Just for decoupage and mixed media! Here’s the link to these papers.

DIY Pizzi Geoffre Decoupage Lace Beach Theme

Welcome back my friends! Pizzi or Pizzo Geoffre Decoupage has never looked like this. Normally this style of decoupage uses a darker brown oil paint to cover the lace. You then wipe that oil away and are left with a lovely vintage stained lace over your surface. I however, did not want to do what has already been done, so I decided to bring a bit of the summer back to our project for today. Here are the supplies you’ll need and don’t forget to check out the video and subscribe to my channel! Upcycle with Decoupage is also on Facebook so if you like and follow the page you’ll be notified every week when I put a new video out!

Let’s first start out with some lovely sheer lace….

DIY 2017 Decoupage with Watercolor Tissue Papers

Before I go on, here is the link to my store on Zazzle.

There is another store on Zazzle of mine, and here is the link to it  There are 2 stores because the first store I opened has the name of this website and my Facebook page associated with it. But as time goes by I am trying to streamline everything into one name. I will even change my Facebook page name to Patioelf. Possibly patioelf decoupage since we’re all about decoupage. I will even be changing the name of this website to patioelf decoupage. Now, back to our video for the week!

Don’t you just love going to thrift stores? You may even already have an old frame laying around your house. How cool is it that you can now make pictures in the color themes that you want or like? Who cares what’s on trend? I know I don’t. Some colors soothe me and they always will. My favorite color goes in and out of favor as does yours. We surround ourselves with what makes us comfortable. So I will be adding images in all the colors of the rainbow, and then some of course to the site where I am selling it. In the meantime here are some supplies you may need too.  You will notice next to the Viva Decor Napkin glue that there is a note saying there is a shipping free with this. This is the best napkin decoupage glue I have found. I have used this to decoupage planters with and these planters have stood up to rain, snow, high heat and humidity and direct sunlight. I used this glue in todays project and it’s the one with the semi gloss finish. You can however, use the Liquitex Matte Varnish over a high gloss surface if you plan to decoupage the way I have. Don’t forget, Upcycle with Decoupage is on Facebook, if you go over and click “like” and “follow” on the page you’ll be notified every week when I put a new video out. As always, thank you for subscribing to my youtube channel! Happy New Year!!!!
